چکیده

The main objective of this paper is to consider an optimal distributed control problem for a Cahn-Hilliard type phase field system related tumor growth, which consists equation with two relaxation terms and reaction-diffusion suitable variable representing the concentration cytotoxic drugs in medical treatment. We prove well-posedness state its corresponding linearized system. Based on these results, we establish Fréchet differentiability control-to-state operator deduce first-order necessary optimality conditions variational inequality involving adjoint variables. Moreover, by establishing some priori estimates that are uniform parameter, implement asymptotical analysis solutions as well when parameter approaches zero.

Optimal Control of a Semidiscrete Cahn-Hilliard-Navier-Stokes System

In this paper, the optimal boundary control of a time-discrete Cahn-Hilliard NavierStokes system is studied. A general class of free energy potentials is considered which, in particular, includes the double-obstacle potential. The latter homogeneous free energy density yields an optimal control problem for a family of coupled systems, which result from a time discretization of a variational ine...

Sliding mode control for a phase field system related to tumor growth

In the present contribution we study the sliding mode control (SMC) problem for a diffuse interface tumor growth model coupling a viscous Cahn–Hilliard type equation for the phase variable with a reaction-diffusion equation for the nutrient. First, we prove the well-posedness and some regularity results for the state system modified by the state-feedback control law. Then, we show that the chos...

Optimal distributed control of a nonlocal convective Cahn–Hilliard equation by the velocity in 3D

In this paper we study a distributed optimal control problem for a nonlocal convective Cahn–Hilliard equation with degenerate mobility and singular potential in three dimensions of space. While the cost functional is of standard tracking type, the control problem under investigation cannot easily be treated via standard techniques for two reasons: the state system is a highly nonlinear system o...

Isogeometric Analysis of the Cahn-Hilliard phase-field model

The Cahn-Hilliard equation involves fourth-order spatial derivatives. Finite element solutions are not common because primal variational formulations of fourthorder operators are well defined and integrable only if the finite element basis functions are piecewise smooth and globally C1-continuous. There are a very limited number of two-dimensional finite elements possessing C1-continuity applic...

Phase-Field Models of Cahn-Hilliard Fluids and Extra Fluxes

A class of models of Cahn-Hilliard fluids are developed by considering two incompressible non-reacting phases. The concentration of one of the phases, satisfying the classical diffusion equation, is regarded as the order parameter. The balance of energy and the entropy inequality are taken as for a single constituent but, owing to the non-simple character of the continuum, extra fluxes of energ...
